hi koesper - it’s a 2 x 2.8GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon with 2GB of RAM, 320GB hard drive, and an ATI Radeon HD 2600 (256MB).

Nice machine. I was lucky enough to get one with 2 x 3.0 GHz quad xeon with 4GB ram and 2 x 500 hard drives but i got one of the last crap video cards 7300gt
I like your choice of monitor but I really like my Apple 30″ Cinema
What made you choose the samsung?

thanks, James. I was considering the 30″ Apple Cinema Display, but what made me choose Samsung was the extra warranty coverage (3 years out of the box vs Apple’s 1 year warranty). I had a previous Apple Cinema Display (20″ bezel) that I had purchased AppleCare for and it had been back to Apple 3 times and never got properly fixed (of course AppleCare ran out by then and I was left with a half-dim display). The Samsung reviews on various tech sites were very favorable and - coupled with the price difference (I was saving $500) - it seemed like a good value.
