It’s pretty rare indeed to come across a vintage computer that’s over 20 years old - and even rarer these days to find one in its box, unopened. Ask Dan and Kathryn - they’re the proud owners of a mint condition Apple //c scored on eBay. They paid well more than a //c goes for - but this one still has the new computer smell, warranty card and everything neatly packed. It’s like opening a time capsule to computing in 1984.

The Apple II was my first real exposure to computers. In fact, the first computer I used to write a report was an Apple //c,. I was so impressed with the word processing capabilities of Appleworks, that in due process I purchased my own Apple // - the Apple IIGS.

Apple II’s were great computers - and I still have my tricked out IIGS, in the hopes that one day, I’ll be able to show it to my daughter.
