I’m definitely a junkie. Can’t go long without touching a computer. I’m also a bit of a Guru although not actually trained for it I’ve “Played” with them enough that I can usually figure out the solution to a problem (or I Google it ;))
If they’re simple backgrounds, I use the computer - if the background has details I usually draw them in. (but I try to use the computer as much as I can because I hate drawing backgrounds)…
I’m actually contemplating the notion of making this list much more complete by adding more ‘personalities’ in future strips - which could then be culled together into a poster. How does that idea sound?

Must I only pick one?

true, JR - it’s pretty easy to fit into multiple categories…

I have a technical question: how do you handle backgrounds? Do you draw them on the computer?
I understand that sometimes you use a gradient background, but when you do really detailed backgrounds, how do you manage?
(I hope you don’t mind my questions)

I must agree with JRSofty. I fit the criteria of at least 3 of those. I’m sure if you had time to add more the number would go up too.
