This is the first time I’m running Coriolis’ iDefrag on my Macbook Pro - in the 2 years I’ve owned it. Suffice to say, the hard drive is pretty badly fragmented.
The Macbook Pro is set up as a target Firewire drive chained to my Mac Pro. I’ve been very happy with the results I’ve seen with iDefrag since I started using it a few years ago. It’s paid for itself many times over in speeding up my drive.
