I saw Iron Man this weekend. It was a significant event for me for several reasons:

1. It was the first time I’d seen a movie so close to opening day.
2. It was the first time I’d gone to the movies without my wife Aarti since we were married (I went to the theater with her blessings)
3. It was the first time in years I’d gone to a movie on a Saturday morning.

Honestly, I felt like I was 12 all over again. The excitement of seeing the movie certainly matched the hype. I went in with buoyed expectations and left the theater feeling like I received my money’s worth of entertainment.

Re: Today’s strip

This week I’m taking a closer look at the geeky dad / son dynamic between Bob and Milton, themed around the Iron Man movie. I’ve also drawn a special Mother’s Day strip you’ll see this coming Sunday.
