Sunday morning, Aarti and Sonia are heading up to Knoxville TN to spend a few weeks with Grandma and Grampa. I’ll be joining them once the quarter’s over, but until then, I’ll be a bachelor. I’m going to miss them both terribly, as it will be the first time they’ll both be away from me. It’s going to be tough, but we’ve got Skype, iChat and a few other ways to keep regularly in touch. (Thank goodness for technology…) For that reason, I haven’t worked on plotting any new comics today.

Tomorrow, after I see them both off, I’ll turn my gaze towards making new comics for the week. I may fall behind this week, so thanks in advance for understanding.

I use ChronoSync on my Macbook Pro to copy data to an internal drive on my desktop G5. I also have Time Machine (for incremental back-ups) and SuperDuper (for fully bootable backups) running on both Mac Pro and Dual 2GHz G5 desktop machines. But what I haven’t prepared for is off-site back-ups. In light of the recent wildfire arson in Florida, I’m thinking it’s time I give off-site backups some serious thought. And so I wanted to open the floor up for suggestions and ideas on how to do this.

What’s the best method for creating off-site backups?  External drive? An online back-up like Mozy or Amazon S3? Thanks in advance for your input.
